Concentration Piece #5

I am proud of the composition I was able to achieve in this piece. I didn't stick to one hand in the middle of the page, but instead, I used more than one hand and I drew them in different areas of the composition to create a more visually appealing arrangement. The medium I used to create this piece was pencil and colored pencil. Again, the color choices mean something to me. As a child, pink and purple were two of my favorite colors, but I hated the color yellow. Over time, I grew to like the color yellow because it makes me think of things that are yellow like flowers and the sun. This is just an example of how things can change over time, how you won't always like the same things, or you can grow to like new things, even something as simple as the color yellow. So, I kept this in mind when I created this piece and put the yellow hand with the purple hand. The elements and principles of design I used in this piece are composition, color, shape, form, and line.
