Concentration Piece #4
I'm really happy with how this piece turned out. I like the colors I used and the simplicity of it, it's just a hand on a page, but to me, the colors and the meaning of hands to me bring so much more emotion to it. The soft blue can represent sadness, while the deeper burgundy can mean either love or anger depending on which way you perceive that color, the orange can stand for curiosity and awareness, the yellow can stand for youth, happiness, and liveliness, and the green can stand for the earth and nature. All of these colors I took into careful consideration when I created this piece because they have meaning to me and what I was trying to get across to the viewer. The elements and principles of design I used here were line, shape, form, color, and proportion.
