Concentration Piece #2

This is my 2nd concentration piece. This piece is supposed to represent power and strength. The mediums I used are pencil and colored pencil. One thing I am proud of myself for is the time I spent on the shading, hatching, and cross-hatching. I think I was able to execute that well. I used colored pencil to do a striped background of red and gray. The way that the hand is in a fist helps to portray the feeling and emotion of strength, like I said earlier. The principles and elements of design I used in this piece are emphasis, harmony, unity, proportion, line, color, shape, and form.
