SRQ Project

This is my SRQ Airport Project. I struggle with realism so I tend to draw more of an abstract or cartoon-like style. If I could fix or improve on anything, I would have made the background more 3-dimensional so you have a better perspective and focus on the cheetah; the background would be more of a background, and not just on top of the cheetah. I think I made the cheetah's eyes too blue, if I gave them more of a realistic blue color I think I would have liked it better. If I would have made hibiscus flowers instead of these flowers, that would have looked nicer, too. I guess I'm not very proud of this piece. I think I rushed through it and it looks juvenile. I was trying to achieve an abstract style, but there is a clear difference between an abstract art style and just rushing through something. However, if I were to give this piece elements and principles of design, I would give it color, pattern (in the spots on the cheetah), movement (in the raindrops), shade or hue (in the green), and space(in the negative space in the background).
